Personal focus and teaching goals

How can the musical thought and emotional energy of the musician be directed even better into the world and into the ears, heart and brain of the listener?

I am particularly interested in the energetic aspect of making music.

To this end, we work on how our own posture, playing position and playing movements can facilitate and improve music-making. We strengthen or loosen certain muscle groups in order to strengthen the posture and free the hands for the fine motor demands of playing; we learn to experience musical phrases with the whole body in order to then perform them on the instrument with a free flow of energy. Here, breath and voice help to create, control and improve the body's inner readiness to make music. Processes from NLP can help to develop helpful and supportive thoughts especially for audition, competition and examination situations.

The aim of my lessons is to achieve a harmony of movements, thoughts and feelings with the instrument - in search of free, virtuosic, intelligent and intensive music-making.
