Content: Teaching basic knowledge of the physiological processes of movement, posture and breathing with a focus on the requirements for instrumentalists.

The most important goals:

    Improving the understanding of the importance of posture and movement sequences when playing

    Prophylaxis (prevention) of pain when playing

    Correct handling of complaints

    Improvement of practicing

Based on applied anatomy, physiology and neurology, the most important goals are the prevention of occupational illnesses and suggestions for optimizing practice and training techniques. Developing physiologically correct ideas about movement sequences in instrumental playing, creating an awareness of the connections between movement, posture and breathing, questioning movement exercises and instructions for playing movements as well as a better understanding of movement problems and insights into the treatment of musicians' illnesses.
