Basic knowledge of the physiological processes of movement, posture and breathing with a focus on the requirements for instrumentalists and singers.
Compulsory lecture IGP

IGP BA.:

Practice-oriented communication of the findings of music physiology. Based on applied anatomy, physiology and neurology, the most important goals are the prophylaxis of occupational diseases, suggestions for optimizing practice and training techniques. The addition of Physiology of Music Making 2 (optional subject) is recommended. Only to be taken if a physiology course is not offered as part of the didactics of the respective instrument. (according to the current curriculum)


Prerequisites:

None, the course Physiology of Music Making is the basic course in the field of music physiology.
