Maria BUNEA

Maria Bunea is a guitarist and lutenist born in Chișinău (The Republic of Moldova). She graduated in Guitar Performance at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in 2022. Since September 2022, Maria has been studying Early Music at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna. She is studying historical performance practice and lute. Her research, entitled Musician’s approaches to performance practice, is situated in this field and explores the different strategies and approaches used by performers to offer a better understanding of this music to today’s audiences.
