Univ.-Prof. Andreas Henning

Andreas Henning first studied music and mathematics, then conducting in Hannover/Germany with Lutz Köhler. He was engaged as Kapellmeister at the opera houses in Weimar, Trier, Halle, and Dresden State Operetta, where he developed an extensive repertoire in the fields of opera, operetta, musicals, and concerts. In 2016-2019 he was a permanent pianist at the Vienna State Opera; since then he has worked as a repetiteur and musical assistant with renowned conductors, such as Semyon Bychkov, Marek Janowski, and Franz Welser-Möst, and is a regular at the Salzburg and Bayreuth Festivals as well as at the Vienna State Opera.
