Xi Wang, MA BA

Xi Wang, born in Harbin city, China, is a master's degree holder in piano. Since 2016, she has dedicated herself to the role of a piano accompaniment teacher within the Conducting Department at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, achieving the distinction of Senior Lecturer in September 2022.

Xi Wang's lifelong journey with the piano began in her childhood. At the age of 12, she gained admission to the Music Middle School Attached To SYCM (Shenyang Conservatory of Music). Her quest for musical excellence led her to Vienna at the age of 17, where she studied under the tutelage of Prof. Dr. Albert Sassmann.
Having graduated from the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, Xi Wang earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree in piano performance. Her formative years were shaped by the guidance of renowned pianists Prof. Klaus Sticken and Prof. Thomas Kreuzberger. She further enriched her musical journey through participation in numerous international pianist masterclasses, culminating in several prestigious diplomas.

Xi Wang boasts a wealth of experience in both piano performance and education. Her exceptional musical talent and virtuosity have graced stages across China and Europe, with her repertoire spanning from solo piano recitals to captivating chamber music performances, all driven by a relentless pursuit of artistic excellence.
