SARAH CHAKER

Sarah Chaker (Dr.in phil.) studied Musicology and German language at the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. Currently, she is an assistant professor at the Department for Music Sociology at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Her current research interests include street music, the transdisciplinary analysis of music, history, theories and methods of music sociology, popular music (in particular metal music) and Musikvermittlung.
