Projects
On behalf of the rectorate, the Department of Quality Management conducts evaluations and surveys for the entire university, for example
- Evaluation of the mobility behavior of mdw employees (2019)
- Survey on various aspects of the topic "digitalization" as a basis for the creation of a digitalization strategy (2020)
- Evaluation of distance learning/teaching during Covid-19 measures (2020)
- Evaluation of the situation of the administration as a result of Covid-19 (2020)
- Monitoring of „Studierbarkeit“ (pilot 2021).
In addition, other parties have been taking up the department’s offer – support in the design of university-internal i.e. administration-relevant surveys offered to all institutes, centres, and administrative organisational units – more frequently.
Thus, at the request of other organisational units (institutes and administration), a wide range of quality-related projects are carried out on an ongoing basis, current examples being:
- evaluations of various artistic and scientific event and teaching formats (orchestra projects, exams, master classes, summer academies, ...)
- evaluations of service quality
- surveys of demand.
Likewise, evaluations of studies/curricula are conducted upon request by and in cooperation with study commissions (“Studienkommissionen”) or course directors ((Music Therapy 2017, Lateral-Entry MA in Music Education (3 cohorts 2018/2019), UL Cultural Management 2019, BA Voice 2020).
