Welcome at mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna!
Our university offers a special programme for students who had to flee from the war in Ukraine and who aim to pursue studies at our university.
The MORE programme is not a regular study programme but aims to provide first easy access to our university. Entering the MORE programme in the summer term 2023 (March to June 2023) will enable you to attend a German course, to take regular classes and to meet other students and possible teachers in your main field of artistic studies. Of course, you can compose the programme courses individually according to your needs and interests. You will also learn about the requirements and necessary preparations for the artistic entrance exam, if you aim to start a regular study programme at mdw.
Registration:
- For registering as a MORE student, please create an applicant-account in mdwOnline
- In the list of studies, section "other studies", chose: UT 990 956 - Besuch einzelner Lehrveranstaltungen; Initiative MORE ("Attending Individual Courses, Initiative MORE")
- Once you created your applicant-account, please visit the Studies Center (find your way here).
- Please bring your passport. (If available, bring your blue residence card - „Ausweis für Vertriebene“)

You can then design a course package in consultation with the teaching stuff of your main field of artistic studies. As a MORE student mdw provides you with an e-mail account that keeps you updated on information and activities.
