Doc-Buddy-Programme

The mdw's Doc-Buddy-Programme is designed to help new students arrive at the mdw and to welcome them during their first weeks at their new university.

Doc-Buddies are contact persons for new doctoral students. They introduce new doctoral students to other students, show them around campus and other important places in the area, and help them get off to a good start at their new university.

What do Doc-Buddies do?

  • Provide orientation for new doctoral students.
  • Integrate non-affiliates (e.g. introduce them to colleagues)
  • Establish contacts and networks (e.g. exchange phone numbers and have informal meetings)
