• Did the upload of the files work?

If the files are visible in the mdwBox and the correct size is displayed, the upload has worked. Please check this yourself!

 

•   Are the file formats of the videos OK?

The most common file formats mp4 and mov are best, in addition all other formats that can be played with a standard player will also work.

Please do not upload uncompressed data directly from a video camera, these would have to be converted. If you have any further questions, please contact the mdw AV Centre: av-zentrum@mdw.ac.at.

 

•   The uploaded video won't play. Is something wrong?

 The mdwBox cannot play videos. Please only check if the upload was successful.

 

•   Can someone tell me if everything is ok?

      Due to the administrative effort unfortunately individual checks are not possible. However, if the examination committee is not able to play the video, they will contact you and you can submit the videos again. 

     If you have not uploaded all the required documents, your application will not be considered! If there are any technical problems with the upload, please contact the mdw AV Centre at av-zentrum@mdw.ac.at.

 

•   My video is a little longer/shorter than specified. Is this a problem?

 No, as long as the given time is not exceeded/shorted too much.

 

•   How does the release for the exam commission happen?

  The data for the examination board will only be released by the mdw/StudienCenter at a later date; there is nothing you can do.

 

•   Why can only I access the mdwBox?

     The data for the examination board will only be released by the mdw/StudienCenter at a later date; nothing can be done on your part.

 

•    Who checks that the documents are complete?

  This check is carried out by the examination board.

 

•    I did not receive the mail for the activation of the upload area.

  Please check the mails in your spam folder

 

•    What does it mean that the access expires with a certain date?

  This expiration date is the end of the evaluation period for the administration; the members of the Examination Commission will only receive approval afterwards.
