YOUNG MASTERS is a programme for the promotion of highly gifted children and adolescents run by the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in cooperation with the Johann Sebastian Bach Music School.
This programme provides interested and enthusiastic talents from both institutions with an expanded range of common offerings in order to enrich their respective courses of training on their main instruments. Its diverse activities support young talents on their individual paths into the world of music.
The YOUNG MASTERS Programme includes
- Thematic workshops (on improvisation, health, contemporary music, etc.)
- Master classes
- Chamber music and orchestral projects
- International projects (concert tours, exchange concerts)
- Programme evaluation as part of ongoing research (Young Masters Research)
- Charity projects (benefit concerts)
