As a result of social changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the project "lieblingslied.at" was initiated in cooperation with the Austrian Professional Association for Music Therapists (ÖBM). This was a free, preventive offer for people who are particularly affected by the effects of contact restrictions ("physical distancing"), with the aim of strengthening individual resources and enabling positive, vitalising experiences in times of social isolation. On 20 April 2021, this offer ended after one year.
The project is being scientifically evaluated in cooperation between the WZMF and the Institute for Sociology of Music at the mdw.
