Responsibility as a manager
Directors and their deputies assume responsibility at the mdw - responsibility for the organisation as well as for the people.
The demands placed on managers vary greatly in terms of their tasks and depending on the nature of the organisational unit to be managed (institute, dean's office, research centre, service facility), its size and personnel structure.
Personnel development offers assistance and support in finding one's way in the (new) role of a manager and continuously (further) developing one's own leadership competences in order to gradually and successfully shape the challenging process of leading heterogeneous university teams.
