Research
The study of historical sources is an essential part of historical performance practice, and research therefore plays an important role at the Early Music Department.
We are committed to rediscovering music and breathing new life into old manuscripts through our musical and artistic activities. This includes research on historical instruments and the acquisition of specific replicas in order to offer students the opportunity to engage in practical scientific work.
The department’s research activities are thus also reflected in the work of its students.
A series of publications on early music is currently in progress.
