| Notes | Hasse's "Piramo e Tisbe" had its premiere in Vienna in November 1768 and was revived in 1770. Regarding the text, we have two identical libretto prints: A-Wn 450026-A (1768) and A-Wn 641432-A.14,6 (1770). These prints do not help dating the present score. The three papers used in the score all together appear in 1770 for the first time in Viennese opera scores. Therefore, the present score is to be assigned to the 1770 revival. |
