Bianca Jasmina Rauch is a film scholar, critic, and curator. She completed her PhD at the mdw, with the thesis “Resistant gazes: Female search for identity in coming-of-age films”. Her research focuses on feminist film history and entanglements of history, activism, and film. Among other things, she writes for the feminist online film magazine “Filmlöwin”, is a member of the editorial team of kolik.film and Jugend ohne Film, and co-hosts the feminist film podcast “Ned Wuascht”. She is also part of the screening committee for the Diagonale – Festival of Austrian Film.
