In academic and artistic contexts, on the other hand, it’s about things like questions of authorship, innovation, and inspiration. In the following, we query AI’s possibilities and limitations in the university context and also explore the question of just what stance research and the arts can and should take up vis-à-vis this technology so as to facilitate lively discourse while also ensuring that points of criticism regarding certain aspects and impacts of AI are paid appropriate heed.
