Going to a new country to study is exciting, inspiring, and wonderful but also entails lots of questions, challenges, and uncertainties.

This spring, Universities Austria (uniko) launched the online campaign “UNInteressant? – Ideen, die unser Leben verbessern” [UNInteresting? – Ideas that Improve Our Lives].

Since 2005, the Long Night of Research (Lange Nacht der Forschung – LNF) has provided an Austria-wide opportunity to introduce a broad audience of all ages to research fields and institutions while also providing insight into current research projects.

Income losses of up to 100 % and still-non-existent perspectives on how, in what form, and above all when things might be able to go forward: that’s the situation in mid-April for numerous arts and cultural professionals in Austria.
