The mdw was recently honoured with an Erasmus+ Award, conferred by the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalisation (OeAD) as part of a festive ceremony on 12 December 2023.

The Erasmus+ project ALIISA (“All In – International Inclusive Society in Arts”) ran from September 2020 to August 2023 and involved the mdw along with Finnish, Lithuanian, and German (arts) universities, universities of applied sciences, and music and dance schools.

The mdw is in very good shape with regard to diversity, intersectionality, barrier-free access, and inclusion.

The mobility programme Erasmus, in which the mdw has been a participant since the 1993/94 academic year, is now celebrating 30 years of existence.
