Robin studied music education (percussion) and instrumental and vocal pedagogy (percussion in popular music) at the mdw. He is involved in various bands and ensembles playing music ranging from classical to pop (Sinfonietta Baden, Sirene Operntheater, Mynth, Filou etc.).
