Juri Giannini

Juri Giannini was born in Rome and has lived in Vienna since 1997. He studied musicology and now researches and teaches in the mdw’s Department of Musicology and Performance Studies. The current focal points of his research are: questions of interculturality in the teaching of music history, ideology and the writing of (music) history, translation-related questions in musicology, and the cultural history of music.
