Martin BOLTERAUER

Cornetto (Supplementary Subject)

Martin Bolterauer was born in Graz and started his music education at the Johann Josef Fux Conservatory Graz. He then continued his studies in Early Music at the Department for Early Music at Kunstuniversität Graz and Hochschule für Künste Bremen.

As a cornett player he performs with several European ensembles on a national and international level such as “Les Cornets Noirs”, “Concentus Musicus Wien”, “Freiburger BarockConsort” and “L’Arpeggiata”. Furthermore he was involved in numerous broadcast recordings.

Additionally he played in opera productions at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Müpa Budapest, Teatro Olimpico, Royal Theater Carré and Staatstheater Augsburg, to name just a few.
