The bachelor’s degree programme Instrumental Study – Recorder provides practice-oriented pre-professional training and professional training for future professional performers on the recorder including competencies both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. In the process, both of the stylistic areas relevant to the recorder – those of early music and contemporary music – are paid attention.

The instruction and study included in this programme provide a foundation for independent artistic activity, thus contributing to students’ ability to deal critically with artistic and scholarly issues relating to the development and appreciation of the arts.
