Marco Primultini was born in Thiene (Italy). He showed a strong interest in music as a child and in 2004 he continued his education at the ‘Arrigo Pedrollo’ Conservatory in Vicenza, specialising in organ and organ composition. At the same time, he studied Modern Literature at the University of Padua. After his artistic diploma, he was admitted to the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna in 2013, where he completed a master’s degree in organ concert performance and a bachelor’s degree in IGP with Prof. Peretti and a master’s degree in harpsichord with Prof. Campagne and Prof. Traxler. He performs in various European countries and Japan as a concert organist and harpsichordist, both as a soloist and in larger ensembles (RSO-Radio Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, L’arpeggiata – Christina Pluhar) and is the founder and member of the Ensemble Purling Streams. He received important musical impulses at numerous masterclasses, including with A. Heurtematte, M. Harris, R. Antonello, M. Ruggeri, P. Van Dijk, F. Danksagmüller, M. Radulescu, B. Kuijken, J. Christensen. In 2023 he founded the cultural association Constellations with his colleague Verena Grundner.
