Im August kam ich nach einer zu kurzen Nacht im Flugzeug (und 32 Grad in Österreich) in Buenos Aires an. Winter, kalt, allein, keine Spanischkenntnisse und keine Wohnung. Beste Voraussetzungen also. First things first: Wohnen Im Chaos aka Buenos Aires angekommen, machte ich mich gleich auf, um zwei Wohnungen zu besichtigen, die mir Bekannte vermittelten, die vor einiger Zeit hier studierten – das erleichterte mir schon einiges, allerdings ist es in Argentinien wirklich auch besser, erst vor Ort eine Wohnung zu suchen, sie ganz genau anzusehen (denn oft sind die Fotos im Internet sehr gut retuschiert) und dann erst zuzusagen.…

Im Jänner 2020 durfte ich sechs Tage lang im Zuge des Projektes für die Modernisierung Höherer Musikalischen Ausbildungsstätten durch Improvisation (auf Englisch Modernizing European Higher Music Education through Improvisation) nach Tallin reisen. Ich hatte das Vergnügen als Student mit Frau Manon Winter und Burkhart Stangl Vertreter für die mdw – Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien dort zu sein.…
