Rahel Stoellger (Inst. 18)

Rahel Stoellger studied at the Münster University of Music and with Walter van Hauwe at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam, where she earned her concert diploma in 1990. She went on to pursue further studies with Kees Boeke and Pedro Memmelsdorff.

As a member of various ensembles and with the ensemble “Badinerie,” which she founded in 1992, she has performed in Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Poland, and Taiwan.

She has performed at venues including the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the “Brunnenthaler Konzertsommer,” the “Sommerserenaden Linz,” the Festival of Early Music in Krakow, the Bach Archive in Leipzig, and at the ORF Vienna. She has participated in various radio and CD recordings, including 17th-century Italian music in the “ORF-Edition Alte Musik” series and with “carpe diem” in Berlin.

Rahel Stoellger teaches recorder and music pedagogy at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and also leads numerous workshops, for example at the “Tage Alter Musik” in Pöllau/Styria, at the conservatories in Klagenfurt, Graz, and Wiener Neustadt, at the Institute for Music Education, and in Bolzano and Taiwan.
