The life of a musician, teacher or composer is not only about musical skills. Apart from creative work, taxes and social security are also part of everyday life as an artist. But at what income level do income tax and insurance contributions have to be paid and in what amount? When does additional insurance make sense? What role do performance fees play in the personal financial portfolio? And how many performances at what fees do I need to cover my living costs?
This lecture will give an overview of what is necessary and what to look out for.
