Public relations and branding for artists
with exercises and individual feedback

 

This practice-oriented webinar enables students to develop individual artistic profiles/brands and learn how to present their projects in a compelling way. Whether as soloists, as part of an ensemble, or in connection with a festival initiative – the focus is on tailored promotional texts, strong core messages, and concise elevator pitches, along with the professional use of AI tools to effectively support creative processes and strategic marketing. Through in-depth analysis and trainer feedback, participants refine the positioning of their artistic projects and train with tools that enhance visibility, professionalism, and sustainability. Open to students and alumni from all artistic disciplines and year levels.
 

Objectives

  • Develop individual artistic profiles and brands (solo/ensemble/project/personal branding)
  • Create promotional slogans, introductions, and posts for print and social media
  • Use AI tools effectively for text creation and improve output quality
  • Formulate clear core messages for different target audiences
  • Deliver elevator pitches for professional self-presentation
  • Develop and select targeted marketing strategies
  • Evaluate and refine communication measures

Course lecturer Daniela Ettl


Daniela Ettl is the founder of the private institute The Speech. As a trainer and coach, she supports aspiring artists in promoting and developing their own personalities for their careers, better positioning their music careers and moving confidently and rhetorically through the most diverse art scenes. Her own biography includes not only numerous lectures and teaching activities at universities, but also a recording contract (EMI), many collaborations with musicians and a role in the Austrian Composers working group
