Social Media Marketing and Monetizing Classical Music Online
How can musicians successfully market and monetize classical music online? This seminar covers social media marketing, content strategies, and concrete approaches for becoming visible online as a classical musician, and for turning your own music into sustainable branding and income.

Course lecturer Maximilian Schairer
Maximilian Schairer is a multiple prizewinner of international competitions and festivals in Europe and the USA, and a scholarship holder of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben. He made his orchestral debut at the age of twelve with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra. Concert engagements have taken him to renowned festivals and concert halls in Europe, Indonesia, and the USA, including the Lucerne Festival, the Salzburg Festival, and Carnegie Hall. As a soloist, chamber musician, and with orchestras, he captivates audiences and press alike.
In addition, he initiates creative concert formats, is active in music education and outreach, and works as a lecturer. His debut album "GLOAMING" (2023) received international attention and was featured multiple times on the radio as well as in Lufthansa's in-flight entertainment program. His artistic work is also documented in radio, studio, and TV productions.
