mdw Artists
One focus of the Career Center is the mdw Artist Portraits of particularly promising young artists. The mdw Artist Portraits are complemented by the Ö1 Talentebörse.
Workshops 2024/2025
The Career Center offers workshops for students and young graduates on the topic of career development in addition to the mdw's compulsory courses - free of charge and creditable as electives.
Concerts and performances 2024/2025
The Career Center offers higher semester students and young graduates performance opportunities in cooperation with external organizers.
Toolbox
The toolbox offers information and skills for starting your career, dialogue tools with organizers and audiences as well as an overview of the job market for musicians, educators and cultural managers.
Career counseling
We offer general career counseling, advice on artists' materials and on the planning, promotion and realization of artistic projects in individual appointments.
Camcorders to borrow
We lend camcorders with sperate high-quality microphones to students and graduates (up to 5 years after graduation) for up to one week for non-commercial recordings. These are not available for admission examinations.
