My personal business plan
 

 

This webinar provides participants with the basic tools for securing their economic livelihood and artistic self-marketing in a very practical way. You will learn the steps that lead to a feasible business plan: Career goals, market research, financial planning and funding opportunities, strategy and measures.

You will gain knowledge about creating a business plan and about the cultural sector in general (cultural funding and financing, artistic career prospects). They develop the basis of an individual marketing strategy and can apply entrepreneurial strategies in such a way that they support their artistic goals. Active participation and collaboration as well as the creation of a concept for a business plan in keywords are integral components of the webinar.


Objectives

  • Getting to know the basic tools for securing an economic livelihood and artistic self-marketing

  • Acquire knowledge about the cultural sector (cultural funding, financing, artistic career prospects)

Course lecturer Karin Wolf


Karin Wolf, founder and director of the Institute for Cultural Concepts, Vienna. Personal focus of work: Personnel development in cultural organizations, job coaching and career planning for the arts and culture, executive coaching and communication training. Studied theater, film and media studies, art history (Vienna, Amsterdam, Berlin), European Diploma in Cultural Project Management. Active in the international cultural sector since 1984. Since 1995 teaching assignments in cultural management at the University of Vienna, University of Art and Design Linz, University of Art and Design Graz and Karl Franzens University Graz.
