Dealing with excessive demands, perfection and competitive pressure

 

The everyday working life of artists is often characterized by the urge for perfection, the resulting excessive demands and the interplay between competition and cooperation. In order to develop and expand skills in dealing with competition, perfection and many other challenges, we will present theoretical background and basic knowledge on these topics in this two-part workshop. Specific exercises and practical applications will also be developed.


Objectives

  • Build self-confidence
  • Train self-esteem
  • Formulating goals
  • Exercises are carried out both in the group and individually.

Leonhard Königseder is a percussionist, mental coach and teacher of mental training, Department of Music Physiology, Institute of Music and Movement Pedagogy/Rhythmics and Music Physiology at the mdw
