Subsidies MA7 (City of Vienna)
Cost calculation, guidelines and submission modalities

The City of Vienna supports musicians and institutions in the music sector in various ways. Support is available for large music institutions, individual projects such as concert events and festivals at a high artistic level. The main forms of funding are project funding for ensembles, orchestras and choirs and composition funding for individuals.

In order to prepare participants for their funding submissions, the most important funding channels will be introduced, information on funding guidelines, submission modalities and necessary forms as well as tools and tips from application practice will be presented. Careful cost and project calculation is a key aspect. The Fair Pay Initiative is intended to take an important step towards fair pay and fair working conditions in the arts and culture in Austria. The workshop will look at the impact this has had and will have in the future on funding applications.
