Music by Clara & Robert Schumann as well as Franz Schubert and texts by Heinrich Heine, Joseph von Eichendorff and others.
Clara Schumann's flower album is the starting point for this evening. She collected dried flowers in this booklet and then gave them to Johannes Brahms. The program revolves around the themes of love, friendship and nature as a resonating space for emotions. Students of the mdw's Max Reinhardt Seminar will read texts by Heinrich Heine, Joseph von Eichendorff, and other poets of the early Romantic period. Students of the mdw will perform chamber music by Franz Schubert and Clara and Robert Schumann. The musical direction of the evening is in the hands of Stefan Gottfried.
